The adorable city of Kalmar is chosen the most popular town to spend your holiday in Sweden. A rose lover can take numerous walks in the quarter of small wooden buildings in the city center and find roses on every fence.
The Agricultural University in Alnarp
The Agricultural University in Alnarp nurses the National Gene Bank for Cultural Heritage Roses. Here you find all the treasures that was collected all over Sweden in the unique POM project.
Sofiero Palace & Garden
Sofiero Palace & Garden in Helsingborg is an awarded park once created by an English princess. Steep ravines, herbaceous borders and lots of roses.

Rosenlund Rosarium in Jönköping is a recently awarded rose garden by WFRS with a special and beautiful design and a collection of very interesting roses for a Nordic climate.

FAQ
Main tour starts 2nd of July 2024. We recommend to take a flight to Copenhagen Airport. Transfer by train or bus to Kalmar, that takes 3,5 hours. If you are a group with 7 people or more, there is possibility to arrange transfers to Kalmar. Please contact us at info@nordicroses2024.com should you need any help with transfer.
To make a payment for your booking, you can either pay directly using a credit, debit card or PayPal via our PayPal account via Ticket Tailor, you can read more about PayPal at their website, www.paypal.com. Or you can conduct a bank transfer to our (The Green Guide AB) Swedish bank account at Handelsbanken. Our bank account information will follow in your email confirmation and on this website when you make your booking. Upon booking, you will receive an Order ID. Â You must specify your Order ID in the bank transfer to our specified bank account. Once we receive your payment, your booking will be confirmed, and a confirmation email will be sent to you.
It is important to check the specific visa regulations for your nationality before traveling. You can find more information on the Swedish government website.
Weather in south of Sweden first week of July is often sunny with a temperature of about 20 degrees. There can however be rainy days but still quite warm. You need summer clothes, some extra sweater and a raincoat. You should also have proper shoes, boots or/and rubber boots.
All breakfasts are included in your hotels. All lunches are included in the registration fee except for July 2nd, opening day. Dinner is included on 3rd July.
The excursion to Skåne is included in the registration fee. You will keep your rooms in Kalmar between the 4th and 5th of July. Dinner in Helsingborg is not included, there will be varies options at your hotel in Helsingborg. Please don't forget to choose your single room for the hotel stay in Helsingborg if should you need that.
For those of you who choose to remain in Kalmar there will be a special program which includes lunch and dinner.
In the booking system you can easily fill in for one person or organization to pay for a number of persons to join. Don't forget to fill in the names and addresses for all members of the group.
